So I’m 13 and 5’4 170 pounds. I want to loose weight. But what’s happening for the past couple days is where I’ll eat like 300 calories a day and burn more calories than I consumed through exercise. I’m just trying to loose 55 pounds quickly, I don’t want to commit to starving myself (which was the only way to loose weight in the past) but I just can’t do it.
A normal calorie intake for your age, height and weight is around 2150 calories a day. I say around because you did not mention how often you exercise. In order for you to lose weight at a healthy rate, I would recommend a total calorie intake of 1600 calories a day, coupled with a minimum of 3 sessions of exercise a week,
At present time, an intake of 300 calories is extremely detrimental to your health. You’re 13 years of age, your metabolism is in its peak, you’re still growing and so your body requires more calories and nutrients to grow.
